UNBUNTU NEIGHBOURHOOD Organization
MENTORSHIP
We provide mentorship and tutoring to students in high school to aid them in their education and bestow guidance to the youth from individuals with shared experiences as well as professionals from a variety of different careers.
EVENTS
We’ve created events that our community has been devoid of for years that have so far consisted of Movie Nights, Scavenger Hunts, Sports Tournaments etc. that have received a ton of positive feedback and brought back a sense of togetherness throughout the community.

Our Safe Space
UNO - ESPLANADE
We’ve established a safe space for youth from the inner city has been a deeply fulfilling and important accomplishment. In providing this sanctuary, we've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of such an environment. It offers these young individuals a respite from the challenges they face daily and the opportunity to escape the cycle of adversity. This safe space has not only provided physical security but also emotional support, mentorship, and a sense of belonging. It has empowered these young people to envision a brighter future, instilled hope, and equipped them with the tools to break through systemic barriers. In doing so, we’ve created a ripple effect of positive change that extends beyond the individuals we serve, ultimately contributing to the betterment of the entire community.

We entail building interpersonal bonds and community ties by utilizing safe spaces for programming and workshops, encouraging interaction, collaboration, and support. This approach aims to foster unity and shared experiences within the community, particularly among the youth

our workshops cover a range of topics, including financial literacy, mental health, skill development, tutoring, and more. We believe in providing diverse educational opportunities to empower individuals in various aspects of their lives, fostering well-rounded personal development within our community.
