B2A Second Half Takeover Leads to First Uno League Win Over YTN
By Jonah
In an electrifying season opener of the Uno League, B2A showcased a powerful second-half performance to secure a 62-50 victory over YTN. The game, held at the packed Uno Arena, marked a thrilling start to the season, with B2A demonstrating their dominance and strategic prowess, particularly in the later stages of the game.
B2A's victory was built on a strategic offensive push and a robust defensive effort. After a competitive first half where YTN held a narrow lead, B2A came out with renewed energy and focus in the second half, executing a game plan that capitalized on YTN's weaknesses.
"We just wanted to attack the big because we knew the big was kinda slow," said Prince, who led B2A with 23 points and 15 rebounds. "Our strategy was to tire them out and take control in the second half." This approach paid off as B2A outscored YTN significantly after halftime, with Prince's leadership and scoring prowess spearheading the turnaround.
B2A's team effort was evident in the stat sheet, with contributions from multiple players. Ai and Hashi each scored 8 points, while Sticks added 9 points from three-point range. Seward's perfect shooting and Prince's dominance both inside and outside were pivotal. On the other side, YTN's Mark led his team with 17 points and 6 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome B2As second-half surge. Overall, B2A's balanced attack and strategic execution secured their first win of the season
