NoCap Hands Drip Different First Loss in a Fiery Week 4 Uno League Clash
Week 4 of the Uno League was exciting as NoCap handed Drip Different their first loss of the season in a tightly contested 77-71 battle. Both teams came in with identical records and high expectations, but it was NoCap's sharp shooting and late-game execution that sealed the win. While Drip Different mounted a strong second-half push behind standout play from Nabil and K2, they ultimately couldn't close the gap.
The energy was high from tip-off, and tensions were even higher. NoCap came out firing from deep, punishing every missed rotation from Drip Different and building an early lead. But just when it looked like things might spiral, Drip Different roared back in the second half behind Nabil's relentless drives and K2's crafty finishes. Still, NoCap refused to fold, answering every bucket with one of their own, led by the smooth shooting of Frank and Emanuel.
Post-game, Aboss didn't hold back when asked about his squad's mindset. "Honestly, talent-wise no team is better than us or can compete with us," he said. "But that's never enough — if people are going harder than you, then you have to match their intensity." The quote raised some eyebrows, especially considering the loss.
Meanwhile, Hashi seemed noticeably more relaxed, smiling more than usual, due to a certain reporter not being in the building this week.
Statistically, it was a heavyweight duel. NoCap was led by Tallman 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 blocks, while Emanuel dropped 19 points and 1Kay added 12 with perfect free-throw shooting. Cory chipped in with a well-rounded line of 10 points, 8 boards, and 4 assists, and Marlo brought energy with 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 blocks. For Drip Different, Nabil was unstoppable with 23 points on 10 made field goals, while K2 poured in 18 and Hashi added 13 points and 7 rebounds. Despite their 71 points and solid rebounding numbers (26 boards), it was No Cap's perimeter shooting and depth that ultimately made the difference.
