NoCap Stuns E-Unit with Late Comeback as Marlo Heats Up and Yousaf Drops a Double-Double
Week 2 of the Uno League delivered another wild one as NoCap stormed back from a 10-point deficit in the final stretch to steal a 50-45 win over E-Unit. Despite a monster double-double from Yousaf and a sharpshooting night from Yasser, E-Unit couldn't hold their lead, getting outworked when it mattered most. For NoCap, it was a gritty, balanced team effort with clutch plays from Emanuel, Clydas, and 1Kay down the stretch that sealed their first win of the season.
The game had everything: pace, tension, and one of the loudest trash-talkers in the league-Marlo. The fiery NoCap guard let his emotions run wild on the court, barking at opponents, chirping refs, and trying to get under everyone's skin. When asked post-game about his team's goals, Marlo fired off, "Our only goal is the chip — I'm coming for everything... #pause." A quote that left the media room both confused and laughing—because yeah, that pause was very much needed.
Yousaf, who finished with 17 points, 18 rebounds, and 4 assists, spoke honestly about the team's breakdowns, saying, "We weren't getting back in transition, that really killed us." Meanwhile, Yasser was electric from deep, hitting three big threes and finishing with 17 points of his own. E-Unit had control early, but once NoCap found rhythm in the second half, it was all gas, no brakes.
Emanuel led NoCap with 14 points, including four threes, while Clydas chipped in 12 and 1Kay added 7 with a couple of clutch free throws. Marlo, despite his antics, hit some key buckets and grabbed 3 boards. E-Unit's offense leaned heavy on Yousaf and Yasser, who combined for 34 of their 45 points. But with only 16 total field goals made and poor transition defense, they couldn't hold on. NoCap improves to 1-0, while E-Unit slides to 0-2 and still searching for their first win of the season.
