W.E.E Makes Early Statement in Season 2 with High-Energy Win Over Ball Don't Lie

The second game of Uno League's Season 2 tipped off with intensity as W.E.E held off Ball Don't Lie in a tightly contested matchup, taking a 61-53 win to open their season strong. The game was a back-and-forth shootout early on, but W.E.E's depth and composure on both ends helped them close things out late against a talented BDL squad.

W.E. E had multiple contributors across the board, but it was Mahad who gave them consistent offense, dropping 15 points with slick finishes and hustle plays. His energy was matched by Yakubu and Abdalmuhaymin Sudani, who both brought presence in the paint. For Ball Don't Lie, Killua erupted for a game-high 28 points, scoring at will in transition and half-court sets, but the rest of the team struggled to find rhythm down the stretch. Despite some solid moments from Trey and KO, Ball Don't Lie's defense collapsed late, allowing W.E.E to pull away.

After the game, KO didn't hold back in his assessment of the loss: "I don't even wanna look, to be honest," he said when asked about the stat sheet. "I gotta be better." The disappointment was clear from the BDL sideline, while W.E.E left the gym buzzing with confidence after a hard-fought win.

Statistically, W.E.E's balance was the difference-seven different players got on the scoreboard. Mahad led with 15 points and 5 rebounds, while Yakubu added 12 points on perfect shooting. Abdalmuhaymin filled the stat sheet with 13 points and 6 rebounds. On the other side, Killua's 28-point explosion wasn't enough to carry Ball Don't Lie, despite help from Trey (13 pts) and KO (4 pts, 5 assists).

W.E. E moves to 1-0 to start the season, while Ball Don't Lie will be looking for answers moving forward.
