W.E.E Outmatches Winless E-Unit in Highly Competitive Week 4 Uno League Matchup
Week 4 of Uno League's second season delivered a fast-paced clash between W.E.E and E-Unit, with W.E.E coming out on top in a 56-46 victory. Despite E-Unit's relentless effort and a jaw-dropping performance from Yousaf, the veteran W.E.E squad capitalized on turnovers and out-executed down the stretch to move to 2-1. E-Unit, now 0-3, once again found themselves on the wrong end of the scoreboard despite showing signs of growth.
From the jump, the game was physical, quick, and full of energy. E-Unit opened strong, with Yousaf setting the tone inside the paint and on the glass. But W.E.E responded with composure, leaning on the playmaking of Hafith and the scoring punch of Dahir to regain control. The pace never slowed, but E-Unit's turnovers and missed opportunities in key moments gave W.E.E just enough breathing room to pull away in the final stretch.
The body language during the match said it all: W.E.E stayed confident and calm, while E-Unit left frustrated, despite flashes of chemistry and improvement. The game had the intensity of a playoff bout, and both sides played like the season was on the line, especially Yousaf, whose stat line was one of the most impressive of the season so far.
Yousaf was a one-man wrecking crew for E-Unit, finishing with 19 points, 21 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and only 3 fouls. He was everywhere — cleaning up the glass, muscling through defenders, and creating for teammates. But it wasn't enough. Jenovy chipped in 8 points, while Yasser added 11 and Lebzz and Adel each scored 4, but no other player reached double digits. On the W.E.E side, Dahir poured in 21 points, Hafith added 16, and Yakubu contributed across the board with 5 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and a block. W.E.E finished with 33 rebounds, 11 steals, and 9 assists, once showing their depth and balance once again.
